Who are we ?          Fareham & Gosport Challenge & Adventure is a locally based charitable organisation that has been running successfully since 1996, and is designed to help young boys and girls, who live in the Fareham or Gosport areas to keep out of trouble.  We take young people aged between 11 and 15 years.

PURPOSE - A crime prevention measure, planned in 1995 and started in June 1996, resulting from an initiative of the Fareham and Gosport Youth Concern networks.

                        - are considered to be at risk of offending, or

                        - have some history of offending and who might offend again.

MEMBERSHIP - young people are put forward for membership of the Scheme by Police Officers, Education Welfare Officers, Social Workers, Youth Workers, Doctors or Teachers.

The Scheme operates with 12 young people at any one time (the maximum the Scheme will accommodate at once).  A waiting list is maintained.

      - no offending;

       - full attendance at Scheme events;
